Before moving to the mainspace, we need to decide on the title. If the "Deemed university" tag is used anywhere else in the world other than India too; this should go to "List of deemed universities in India" since we don't want a {{Globalize}} tag on it the minute it is created.

Also, the wording of "De-recognition pending decision of the Supreme Court." could be changed to something more neutral. This wording seems to imply that they will be de-recognised. Maybe something along the lines of "Recognition status sub-judice in the Supreme Court" should do? (without saying they're going to be de-recognised, or their recognition maintained)--Siddhartha Ghai (talk) 06:39, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the feedback.
Since we have Deemed university without disambiguation, I presume deemed universities is something unique to India. I think the costume is that if one has article X the list article will be list of Xs, but I'd still not mind if we want to add "In India" just for standardization per list of X universities in India, and in any case, a redirect will be made from one to the other.
I totally agree on the wording, very good point and may prevent some future arguments. --Muhandes (talk) 08:27, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
