Your username

[edit]

Hi, and thank you for your first few edits, which I hope will be followed by many more. I'm sorry to have to tell you that the username you've chosen is not really acceptable under our rather strict rules – it gives the impression that you're editing as an institution rather than as an individual, which we don't allow. All user accounts are strictly personal, for use by one individual only. You can ask for a change of name by following the simple instructions here, or you can just say here on this page what name you'd like to use and I'll make the change (as long as it is not already taken). There's no requirement for the name you choose to be a real name – you can use an alias, as I and many others do. Thanks for your understanding, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 17:07, 26 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
