Welcome![edit]

Hello, Mvela1, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Adam and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

hey[edit]

I see you used, as one of your sources in the article on Ms Aono, "personal interview".

No. Never ever use that for a Wikipedia article. That's not allowed. It's unacceptable as a source. We only accept sources that are previously-published content. I've removed the statements which you sourced to the interview. This is because we have no proof, other than your word, that this interview ever took place. I'm not saying that I doubt you, I'm saying that it sets a terrible precedent if we allow it. DS (talk) 05:27, 12 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
