Citations

[edit]

I have taken the opportunity to clean up some of the citations you added to the Sulfacetamide article. Specifically, when linking to a web-based resource, you should not surround the web address in <nowiki>...</nowiki> tags, as this makes it impossible to click on the link to follow it, which really is the whole point of including the address in the first place. Further, there are some citation templates that can prove really helpful, especially for technical articles such as this one:

  • {{cite journal}} provides a consistent syntax for citations to journal articles;
  • {{cite web}} provides a consistent syntax for citations to web sites;
  • {{cite book}} provides a consistent syntax for citations to books, including specific chapters within books;
  • {{cite conference}} provides a consistent syntax for citations to conference proceedings.

As you proceed with further Wikipedia editing, I recommend you become familiar with these templates. If you click on their links here, you will be brought to a page showing their full documentation.

Good luck and happy editing. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 13:22, 9 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
