Wales

The squad announced on the official Welsh RL site is different to the one on the official RLWC side. [1] includes Matt Barron while [2] includes Anthony Walker. Which side do we go with? Mattlore (talk) 19:45, 10 October 2017 (UTC)

The Welsh RL site says Ant Walker (concussion) was ruled out through injury, so I guess Wales RL just hasn't submitted an updated line up to the RLWC organisers yet. Mattlore (talk) 19:45, 10 October 2017 (UTC)

Tonga v the Lions

I have no doubt that the RFL will count the match among their records. It depends how the whole Tonga situation finishes as to whether the new board recognises these matches retrospectively. But I'm willing to bet the RLIF will consider them Tests as the Invitational team is within their control, as far as I'm aware. Or perhaps the NRL is in control of the team, but they are of course still aligned with the RLIF. Narkova (talk) 11:25, 15 October 2019 (UTC)

The Template:Rugbyleaguebox collapsible currently just has fields "points1" and "points2", so you can create the bold headings manually. Something to this effect, but perhaps in a different order or different wording:

	Tries: Connor (2), Clark, McGillvary 5 point tries: Tomkins Goals: Widdop (2)		Tries: Butt	Referee: Ben Cummins

That works, I'd perhaps call it Bonus point tries or use a symbol e.g.

* indicates bonus point try worth 5 points

I don't think the symbol quite works for when a player scores both a bonus try and non-bonus try, like you show for Jake Connor. I also find it a bit redundant to list that each player has one try each, so perhaps that's what makes "(1, 1*)" look rather odd.

I think using "5 point tries" is a bit more self explanatory for those unaware that there was indeed a method for scoring tries worth an extra point. But they're all correct whichever wording ends up being used. Narkova (talk) 13:13, 18 October 2019 (UTC)
