Talk page behaviour
[edit]Please do not delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at Talk:Work permit. Such edits are disruptive and appear to be vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Adrian M. H. 16:02, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Talk:Work permit, you will be blocked from editing. Adrian M. H. 00:50, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
Promotional link
[edit]Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Work permit. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. --CliffC 22:27, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
Changes to disambiguation page Green card
[edit]I am assuming, perhaps incorrectly, that users VivaBelgicaBE and NavinJohnson007 are not the same person, so I'm placing this message on the talk page of both. The page Green card is a disambiguation page; Wikipedia has rules for the format of disambiguation pages, at MOS:DP. Please read them, and do not revert Green card from its cleaned-up version without good reason. The changes you seem to be objecting to were made with the edit summary "doing requested cleanup per MOS:DP: remove text unnecessary for disambiguation, ext linkspam, ext links duplicated in target articles, trim to one bluelink per line". Looking at your contributions, I don't see much beyond spreading and supporting a promotional link for the site www.diyexpat.com. I'm including a template below that covers some other Wikipedia policies you should be aware of. --CliffC 20:49, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
