Nomination of Rail Ka Dibba for deletion
[edit]A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Rail Ka Dibba is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rail Ka Dibba until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Looplips (talk) 00:55, 12 September 2020 (UTC)
The article Lal Dupatta has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non notable film. Nothing found in a WP:BEFORE except film database sites and passing mentions. Seems to fail WP:NFILM. Wikipedia is not IMdB
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Donaldd23 (talk) 03:54, 4 October 2020 (UTC)
Hello, NayanKr26
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username TheBirdsShedTears, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, Saqi (film), for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.
If you wish to contest the deletion:
- Edit the page
- Remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- Click the button.
If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|TheBirdsShedTears}}
. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

Important alert
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Puffery on Madhubala
[edit]The starting sentence " and producer who worked in Hindi films. Referred to in the media as "The Venus of Indian cinema", she has been named one of the most beautiful and greatest Indian actresses in history by several publications" is WP:PUFFERY alone. Yes many people have their favorite actors and they prefer citing them as their favorite, but it does not mean that Wikipedia should uphold such personal views.
Then the victim playing on lead "Madhubala's troubled personal life received much attention. Her lifestyle and career were largely influenced by her father, Ataullah Khan, who limited her interactions with the press and disallowed her presence in public places" is also WP:OR and WP:UNDUE.
Refrain from your attempts at creating a WP:FANPAGE out of this article. Abhishek0831996 (talk) 14:03, 26 September 2021 (UTC)
