Transfers and transfer windows

[edit]

Hi. In Germany – and quite a few other countries – the summer transfer window opens on 1 July. That means transfers announced now won't come into effect until then. Similarly, contracts usually run until 30 June. That means Niklas Stark‎ will not move to Werder Bremen until the 1 July and our article should reflect that. That is why I have reverted the change you made there. Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 09:59, 6 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Transfer windows

[edit]

Hello Negroni Banderoni,

I realise this may be hard to understand, but football transfers really do come into effect on 1 July (and no earlier). You have ignored several warnings about this now. Thank you for your co-operation. Best, Modussiccandi (talk) 10:46, 18 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Warning about un-official transfer additions

[edit]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to A.C. Monza, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. You have been warned about adding unofficial football transfers. In spite of this, you continued this behaviour at the A.C. Monza article. You may experience a loss of editing privileges if you don't stop adding such unverifiable material. Best wishes, Modussiccandi (talk) 15:02, 19 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

June 2022

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Refrain from adding football transfers before they become official. Modussiccandi (talk) 16:39, 20 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

English football summer transfers

[edit]

In the English system, contracts end on 30 June (so players leave clubs on that date) and begin on 1 July (so players join new clubs on that date). Please wait until those dates before editing. GiantSnowman 17:48, 23 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
