Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of username and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 15:55, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I would like to write a neutral article, it is not for promotion

Decline reason:

Wikipedia is not a place for companies to tell the world about themselves and what they do. That is considered promotional here, you don't need to be soliciting or selling something. Articles about companies must summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about a company, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable company. Wikipedia is not interested in what a company says about itself, only in what others completely unconnected with the company, and not based on materials from the company like interviews or press releases or mere routine business activities. Please read conflict of interest and paid editing. You won't be permitted to, in the short term, edit about your company, so we will need to know what you will edit about instead as a general contributor. If you have no interest in editing about other topics, this is the end of the road. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 10:32, 25 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your reply. Could you please give me the opportunity to rewrite an article respecting the Wikipedia rules. As you mentioned, it could be an article about a company that "summarizes what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about a company." Request reason:

I would like to write an article about a company following the Wikipedia's rules. I intend to use reliable sources and write a neutral article. I will need your guidance if modifications are required. I also need to mention that the article is about the company I am working in at the moment so please tell me where I need to write it down. Thank you very much. Nextcontinent (talk) 15:49, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You will not be unblocked to write about your company. I suggest you read the conflict of interest guideline. If writing about your company is your only goal, this is the end of the line. PhilKnight (talk) 17:34, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Nextcontinent (talk) 15:49, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed the content that you wrote about your company. While blocked, the only legitimate use of this talk page is to appeal to the block. Your last block was declined; you may make another appeal if you wish. However... as the reviewing administrator said, if your only intention is to write about your employer, then you will not be unblocked. If you have no interest in writing about any other subject, then please find an alternative outlet where this type of writing is allowed.

Wikipedia is not a business directory, so a company is not entitled to have a Wikipedia article just because it exists. All topics must be notable by Wikipedia's definition to merit inclusion. In the specific case of a company, it must meet the notability criteria for companies and organizations. For this to happen, the company must have already received significant coverage in multiple reliable and independent sources. We have no interest in what a company wishes to say about itself, as this is an inherent conflict of interest. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 17:02, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your reply. I totally understand. However, I saw that the Articles for creation process can be used by anyone with a conflict of interest. This way, neutral reviewers can look at the article and modify it if required. Could I submit my article using this process?
Thank you. Nextcontinent (talk) 17:11, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I won't speak for the administrators, but the convention is that they will want you to first commit to editing topics unrelated to your company. This is for you to build up a constructive edit history and gain an understanding of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. After a period of time, you may be allowed to use the Articles for Creation process to write a draft article about this company for review by neutral editors. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 21:16, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I would like to gain experience editing about topics unrelated to my company first and then, when I have the authorization, to :::write a draft about the company I am working in using the Articles for Creation process Nextcontinent (talk) 08:16, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This user is only interested in writing about their company, indicating that they are a single purpose account. Instead of spending community time evaluating this user's edits, it's just better that this user remain blocked and community members can work on their own projects. Please be more specific. What specific articles do you plan to edit if unblocked? Z1720 (talk) 14:30, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Articles about movies, books, biographies or any other topics that you may suggest. Thank you Nextcontinent (talk) 13:50, 21 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Well, we aren't here to tell you what to edit about. You need to tell us what you want to edit about that is unrelated to your company. This isn't meant to be perfunctory, but a way for you to show us that you understand relevant content and sourcing guideliens. We don't just want you to make five or ten edits and then say "let me edit about my company", we are going to want to see a decent history. Most company representatives are far too close to their company to be able to write about it as Wikipedia requires; we're going to want to see you demonstrate that you are capable of setting your affiliation with your company aside. 331dot (talk) 10:35, 26 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I wanted to be able to use the Artciles for creation tool so that to train to write articles. This way, I will have the guidance from experts. Nextcontinent (talk) 14:22, 28 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
