Your username

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I saw that you edited or created The Underground (newspaper), and I noticed that your username, "Utscunderground", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are invited to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you personally, such as "Jack Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".

Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people, and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, or website, regardless of your username. Moreover, I recommend that you read our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please create a new account or request a change of username, by completing this form, that complies with our username policy. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 13:23, 8 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for changing your username; please note that doing so does not remove the conflict of interest you have in editing about your own newspaper. Please review the conflict of interest policy before further edits. If you have any questions, please post them here. Thanks 331dot (talk) 13:55, 8 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, if editing will be a conflict of interest, who would I get to fix the Wikipedia page? Nickelforyourthoughts (talk) 18:39, 11 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

As the conflict of interest policy states, you can suggest changes you feel are needed on the article's talk page (click the "Talk" tab at the top of the article when viewing it, then edit normally). If you want to draw more attention to your request than might otherwise occur, you can follow the instructions here to do so.
If the issue you have is urgent for some reason(i.e. a copyright issue, defamation, etc.) you could contact an administrator at the administrator's noticeboard for assistance, but that should not be done for a routine change of the article. 331dot (talk) 19:29, 11 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
