I hope you have good luck with your editings! Before you start, please read everything what is already there, including all pages on this SAQ (Shakespeare authorship question) topic. It is a lot, but the administrators do accept only the Stratfordian view. However, on the page on Edward de Vere as a person you may amend a lot, if you have and cite reliable sources (no blogs) as far as his personal life is concerned. There are so many rules that it takes a lot of time to study them all, and it takes some experience with the ways how they are editing articles. The rules are not quite so strict for the Talk Pages. Because of the notification of your intentions you posted on the Edward de Vere talkpage, you need to be aware the the Arbitration Committee has permitted administrators to impose, at their own discretion, sanctions on any editor working on pages broadly related to Shakespeare authorship question if the editor repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process. If you engage in inappropriate behavior in this area, you may be placed under sanctions including blocks, a revert limitation or an article ban. Orphaned non-free media (File:The Authorship Debate.gif)[edit]
Thanks for uploading File:The Authorship Debate.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box.
