Singaporean community

[edit]

Excellent work at Ang Mo Kio Secondary School Symphonic Band and (hurray!) the article survives the VFD. You will find the rest of the Singaporean community in pages such as Wikipedia:Wikiportal/Singapore, Wikipedia:SGpedians' notice board and Wikipedia:Wikipedians/Singapore. There are very nice and helpful guys and gals in this community. Be bold when contributing, have fun and Welcome! -- Vsion 30 June 2005 07:43 (UTC)

It's important not to remove templates such as "copyedit" without making sure that the work has been done. Note also that people should be referred to by their family names, not by their personal names, and that the style of articles should be encyclopædic — neutral, detached, and measured. We should especially avoid writing in the style of a fan magazine. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 2 July 2005 13:56 (UTC)

The temlate can be removed when the article – and especially the English – has been brought up to standard. I'll do it when I get time, but the template's there in case anyone elsegets there first (there are editors who follow up the "copyedit" templates, which show up on a central page).
By the way, always 'sign' your messages — I spent some time trying to work out who left me the message, and what it was about... Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 2 July 2005 14:23 (UTC)
  1. Again, please always sign your messages, so that I don't have to go into my Talk page history to see who to reply to.
  2. The article should contain the right balance of information suitable to an encyclopædi; you added much too much detail, suitable to a pamphlet about the band, but not to Wikipedia. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 10:31, 29 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
