The article about the Queen of Canada is entitled Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom. When you create a link to that existing article, the linked words appear in blue. If a reader clicks on those words, he or she will be taken to the article about Queen Elizabeth. When you change the link to something else, as you have been doing, you break the link to the article, and the words turn red. If the reader clicks on the red words, nothing happens.
