Proposed deletion of Intraverse (disambiguation)

[edit]

The article Intraverse (disambiguation) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article about a neologism for an existing concept (virtual world). A redirect isn't appropriate as there is another Intraverse page about a band, so a redirect from here would be confusing.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. [edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Intraverse has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bfacebook\.com (links: http://www.facebook.com/pages/intraverse/19991692762).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 13:05, 22 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 13:38, 22 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Intraverse

[edit]

I just reviewed the edit history of Intraverse and noticed that you took a page about a software concept and complete rewrote it as a page about a band. I also noticed that your page about the band was a copyright violation of this page. I have restored the page about the software concept. If you wish to recreate the page about the band, created it at Intraverse (band). However, I would discourage this, as nothing you wrote in the article indicated that the band were notable enough to merit a page. If you can change that and demonstrate notability, I would strongly discourage you from repeating the copyright violation. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 12:17, 23 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Dan

I am allowed to use the copy form the website, I have permission.

Thanks, NIckNick 15:43, 23 July 2009 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nim23 (talkcontribs)

Unfortunately, saying "I have permission" is not sufficient. Anyone can say that. In order to prove you have permission, an email from the site's domain needs to be sent to the Wikimedia Foundation to indicate release of copyright. Please see WP:Donating copyrighted materials.
