User talk:Noodlinator
Hello, Noodlinator, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay.
Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian!
If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}}
on your talk page and someone will show up very shortly to answer your questions. Don't be afraid to ask!
If you would like to experiment with Wikipedia, I invite you to do so in my own personal sandbox (just follow the simple rules!) or in the Wikipedia sandbox.
When you contribute on talk pages or in other areas, it is important to sign your posts by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date.
Again, welcome! — ßottesiηi (talk) 23:51, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
AfD on Dan McDowell
[edit]Er...I'd like to remind you that "Spaghetti" is not exactly a valid option for what to do with an article. Although we like jokes at Wikipedia, articles (and their AfDs) are serious business. Please keep your jokes to talk pages. Thanks --M1ss1ontomars2k4 | T | C | @ 00:30, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
- Heheh. I guess I'd technically have to agree with Mission, but I laughed my ass off when I read it. Zepheus 05:36, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
Survey
[edit]Hi Noodlinator!
I have put together a survey for female editors of Wikipedia (and related projects) in order to explore, in greater detail, women's experiences and roles within the Wikimedia movement. It'd be wonderful if you could participate!
It's an independent survey, done by me, as a fellow volunteer Wikimedian. It is not being done on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation. I hope you'll participate!
Just click this link to participate in this survey, via Google!
Any questions or concerns, feel free to email me or stop by my user talk page. Also, feel free to share this any other female Wikimedians you may know. It is in English, but any language Wikimedia participants are encouraged to participate. I appreciate your contributions - to the survey and to Wikipedia! Thank you!
