Information icon Hello, I'm HaeB. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Josh Harris (entrepreneur), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Also, please explain the relevance of the added information for that article's topic (like for various other articles where you added a mention of Alexander Arundel), and do not mark such content additions as minor edits (see WP:NOTMINOR). Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Alexander Arundel, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lincoln Parish. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 20:02, 19 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Alexander Arundel songs

[edit]

I've moved that to Draft:Alexander Arundel songs. It's not common for artists to have separate articles about songs but they may have them for discographies. In addition Alexander Arundel songs was not sourced. It would probably be best to see which songs can be sourced and then merged into Alexander Arundel. You're welcome. Hope you enjoy it here. CambridgeBayWeather (solidly non-human), Uqaqtuq (talk), Huliva 16:58, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Have a look at Wikipedia:External links, especially the section Important points to remember item #2. External links should not be put in the body of the article without a good reason and the lack of a Wikipedia article on the person isn't a good reason. Also articles require categories and while the ones I added are not the greatest they will do as place holders until more specific ones are added. To that end it would be useful to have his birth date, nationality (is he British, Scottish, American), and what genre does he perform in. Hi there....I have decided to take down the page Alexander Arundel. There is an editor by the handle of --modern_primat ...He seems intent on having this page deleted. Whilst I am trying to stay within the rules he seems "for reasons I am unaware" to be rather forceful. I only write to you since you seem as an editor to possess what in my mind is the correct critical faculties to decide if something is promotional or is indeed worthy of Wiki.
I thought that Alexander Arundel page had enough merit , for example being listed as 323rd in a list of 5oo best hard rock albums. and as an artists seems to have contributed to art and culture.
So, to remove certain sections might on the one hand sem prudent, someone who was involved in preventing major copyright reform ..The Orphan Works Bill, could in my opinion be taken as a credible person, living.
That has been verified as have various other parts of his career.
But, I do not want to fall foul of the rules. And you strike me as one who can judge on a case by case basis fairly and not as I fear with --modern_primat ....be caught up in some kind of political stance.
Sorry if I have bothered you. I really just wanted you to know I respect your opinions.
I have deleted the current content. Thank you for your time Notafan18 (talk) 13:38, 28 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
