Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. JohnInDC (talk) 01:54, 9 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, Ntwereet. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. JohnInDC (talk) 11:14, 9 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Gloria Allred. Thank you. RolandR (talk) 22:17, 14 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Anne Bremner. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. RolandR (talk) 22:18, 14 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did at Gloria Allred, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. RolandR (talk) 22:19, 14 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

Request reason:

I apologize for any inconvenience I have caused, but I did not intend for my links to be categorized as spam. Each article I have written was an interview conducted with a famous attorney. These interviews contain unique facts and information on each individual that are not necessarily found on their Wikipedia entries. I would greatly appreciate if you would grant me permission to post these external links on these famous attorneys' Wikipedia entries in the appropriate section since I feel they would add to their profiles. Sincerely, Ntwereet (talk) 22:34, 22 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Read all the messages above. We don't get to link to our own websites on Wikipedia. If some other editor finds your work on lawcrossing.com to be appropriate to link to Wikipedia, that's one thing. But you don't get to do it yourself. --jpgordon::==( o ) 01:59, 23 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
