Welcome!
Hello Octavianus, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!
However, also I see some experimenting at V/Line. Your test worked, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do, and please see WP:CITE. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks.

Some of your contributions are being removed
[edit]Hi Octavianus, and thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia today. You may have noticed that other users have been deleting your contributions to articles, such as Benalla, Victoria and V/Line. The reason this may be occurring is that your comments are considered POV (or Point of View). At Wikipedia, we try to maintain a balanced, neutral resource. Thus, when we spot information that may be considered to be one person's point of view or opinion, we generally remove it. You might want to read Wikipedia:Neutral point of view to see how your contributions could be improved. -- Cnwb 04:30, 9 November 2005 (UTC)
