Hello. A tag has been placed on ToLet.com.ng requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 10:46, 7 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Toletdmteam. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article ToLet.com.ng, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 10:47, 7 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your username

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I saw that you edited or created ToLet.com.ng, and I noticed that your username, "Toletdmteam", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are invited to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you personally, such as "Jack Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".

Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people, and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, or website, regardless of your username. Moreover, I recommend that you read our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please create a new account or request a change of username, by completing this form, that complies with our username policy. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 09:21, 8 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for having your name changed, but you will still need to explain what seemed to be your conflict of interest in editing about that company- and, if you are indeed not associated with that company, why you used their name as your username. 331dot (talk) 11:21, 8 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

ToLet.com.ng is nigeria award winning Online property platform.My sole aim of creating the page is the inform the public of its authenticity.I have no relationship with the aforementioned page — Preceding unsigned comment added by Okeydanny (talkcontribs) 13:34, 9 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
If you have no relationship with the website, why did you use its name as your username in a way that suggests you do? 331dot (talk) 13:38, 9 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
This is my first time on wikipedia ,the username i used earlier was out of ignorance of wikipedia policy of authenticity.Secondly,I mistook the "username" section for a page "title section".Forgive my ignorance,I'm only a clean Nigerian trying to inform the public. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Okeydanny (talkcontribs) 13:46, 9 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I understand- though what did the "dmteam" mean? I read that as 'direct marketing team'. Please note that Wikipedia isn't just for providing information, but contains articles about subjects that are notable as shown with independent reliable sources. From what I see so far you do seem to have a couple sources, though there is not yet information on the 'award winning' aspect of this company. If you have sources for that, please add them. If you have further comments to me, please post them here, I will see them. 331dot (talk) 13:53, 9 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I'm working on posting the links on award and other necessary Information.Thanks for your understanding.How do i take-off the flagged-up issues on the wiki page.Thanks again — Preceding unsigned comment added by Okeydanny (talkcontribs) 14:04, 9 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The orphan tag can be eliminated when you or someone else adds internal links to the article you created on other appropriate articles. The notability tag can be eliminated when sources are added indicating what is notable about this company per the notability guidelines. It seems like that may exist, but just needs to be added. If you have further comments, again, please post them here. 331dot (talk) 14:09, 9 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Notice

The article PropertyPro.ng has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
