December 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. GraemeL (talk) 00:03, 15 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Links were perfect as a substitute for missing links. Gambling Info is a free gambling collection of info, similar to wikipedia but targeted.

The recent edit you made to User talk:GraemeL constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to vandalize pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thank you. Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. GraemeL (talk) 00:23, 15 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I DO NOT CARE ABOUT SEARCH ENGINES, I AM NOT AFFILIATED WITH THE DOMAIN EXCEPT THAT I AM A MEMBER ON FORUM, THIS IS NOT SPAMMING, THESE ARE REPLACEMENT LINKS. Looks like you are the one spamming, wikipedia is not yours, and these are quality links that have same info as the borken links had.

I also send info on what you are doing to wiki. They will decide.

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Online gambling. Barts1a Suggestions/compliments? Complaints/constructive criticism? Merry Christmas to all! 00:29, 15 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Talkback[edit]

Hello, OliviaWatkins. You have new messages at Barts1a's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Online gambling. Users who edit disruptively or refuse to collaborate with others may be blocked if they continue. In particular the three-revert rule states that making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block. If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the talk page to discuss controversial changes. Work towards wording and content that gains consensus among editors. If unsuccessful, then do not edit war even if you believe you are right. Post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Barts1a Suggestions/compliments? Complaints/constructive criticism? Merry Christmas to all! 00:48, 15 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for your disruption caused by edit warring by violation of the three-revert rule at online gambling. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
