Sikh & Sikhism

Wikipedia goes by wp:COMMONNAME, e.g. the name that most English-speaking people are familiar with. Sikh is the English common name (and article) on the people, and Sikhism, the English common name (and article) for the religion. The Italians call their country "Italia". The English common name is Italy. If you said "Italia" to an Australian or Brit, they would likely be confused. Same goes for Sikh and Sikhism; so, please use the common name of "Sikh" and "Sikhism"? You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. @JBW: It looks like online sikhi siphai is now editing Kaur logged out. He keeps making POV removals and gives no explanations nor has he bothered replying on his talk page or starting a discussion on talk pages of articles.
