Hello from NtheP

[edit]

Hi. I am a pathological peeping tom and general gadfly who saw your recent comments at History2007's talk page. I get the impression that you believe you may have a conflict of interest regarding Orsch (one-room-schoolhouse) type education, as you are, apparently, a teacher at such a school in Colorado? In general, I think Wikipedia:WikiProject Education or Wikipedia:WikiProject Schools might be a good place to request help, although I have to acknowledge I am not myself entirely sure how active either is at present. Alternately, although it is admittedly a bit out of my own fields of knowledge, I could offer you what help I can, if you indicate to me either the specific pages in question or, perhaps, sources which might be involved. Orschstaffer (talk) 21:50, 2 June 2012 (UTC), How awesome could this possibly be? Welcome to Orschstaffer, mrcarter, your insight goes beyond what you may percieve. Observe the link I inserted for the specific page and you may review the Notability section for the sources. The draft was copy/pasted to its present location (namespace), originally it was on my user:orschstaffer page which may viewed historically for more obscure drafting of the article as I began building it on my userpage.[reply]
Further review of the wiki Alternative Educations and the variable (ambiguations) I percieved a rather volatile pov amongst the rival pedagogs, which caused me to flee (removing the connective links to the projects) that topic of entrance into the wiki world and persued another (a)venue.
I believe myself to be a guest in the teahouse but my intro with image-Quixote is perhaps archived. Yet my sandbox contents closely resembles a small part of me, which leads to the autodydactic part of me which will figure this stuff out eventually (which may require carbon dating to discover if I did in fact figure it out or just move on to my next compulsion).
This is a good start along with Rosie's invite above. Overwhelmed? Yes I am, however, I am just being Bold and am looking for guidance (such as knowing first before I called myself Orschstaffer, about coi, pov, etc, and other things I'm sure I'll find out too-late before sooner.

Server down

[edit]

Sometimes it may be better to save more often. Or was it too much drain with a large amount of unsaved additions viewing, editing, viewing, editing, etc. I had three images going to their proper locations too.

Adoption

[edit]

Hi Orschstaffer. Thanks for coming to me about adoption, however I'm not sure the style of adoption I use would be right for you. Mine is often aimed at getting troubled users back on their feet, or helping to integrate some new users into the workings of the encyclopedia behind the scenes. Now, you're welcome to come to me with any questions, and I'd be happy to provide any guidance I can (as will those at the Teahouse) - hopefully you'll be able to go down the right track.
