Information icon Hello, Cfireal. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article CFi - Christian Fellowship International, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Melcous (talk) 09:33, 25 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at CFi - Christian Fellowship International, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Melcous (talk) 12:29, 25 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi and thanks for your message on my talk page. Your article would have been deleted because it did not demonstrate that the organisation was notable by using information that was verifiable due to the inclusion of reliable, third party sources. It also appears from your user name that you have some connection with the organisation, which means you have a conflict of interest which Wikipedia has strict guidelines about. The best thing to do is to start by creating a draft rather than an article. This gives you time to work on finding sources, tidying up the formatting, and getting feedback from other editors, before it becomes an actual article in the main encyclopaedia. If you do that, I am happy to give you feedback on your draft and help you edit it, which will also help with the COI issues, if you can demonstrate that the organisation is notable enough for an article. Thanks, Melcous (talk) 23:40, 29 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the response...Never knew my username could put me in this.I guess it would continually be an issue if i dont change it, how do i go about it? Cant find it anywhere on how to change username. I'll do as you have said concerning making a draft, thanks for your help. Cfireal (talk) 18:39, 30 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
