Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Reiner pepper.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

The article Red Hot Reiner Peppers has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 15:23, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Red Hot Reiner Peppers

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Red Hot Reiner Peppers requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. ukexpat (talk) 17:40, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tell you what. I'm going to delete and submit it to articles for deletion (actually, an automated message will arrive to you shortly). This will ensure a proper debate where you can make your case in full. Cheers, Pascal.Tesson (talk) 21:02, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reiner pepper

[edit]

Another editor has added the {{prod}} template to the article Reiner pepper, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? NotifyBot (talk) 12:00, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, can you explain why you created an article under the name Reiner pepper, when it appears that the actual name of the pepper is Reinger (and it is a variety of hybrid green bell pepper rather than a spicy pepper)? Your input at the Discussion page of Reiner pepper would be most welcome. Badagnani (talk) 04:41, 20 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
