Hello, Pandanane, and welcome to Wikipedia! I have noticed that you are fairly new! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. I also see that you have an interest in the use of images and/or photos on Wikipedia.

Did you know that:

Wikipedia has a very stringent image use policy?
That most images from Flickr, online news websites, and other web sources are copyrighted?
Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously?
Wikipedia has an appropriate location for many non-free images and pictures that are being used across multiple languages of Wikipedia?
We provide a files for upload process that is recommended for use?
That we need to restrict the ability of new users to upload files, specifically because of these realities - at least until you get the hang of things?

Problems with upload of File:SEARCAScholars.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:SEARCAScholars.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.
