Comments on your BIOL 345 proposal

My comments are on Jinelle's Talk page. Rosieredfield (talk) 01:16, 6 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Paula,

I was thinking and thought it’d be best if we come up with several subtitles to do with Vancouver Beekeeping and that way we can properly organize our thoughts and credit it specifically to a source. With a quick googles search, I found when, why, and regulations for proper beekeeping, here it is:

http://vancouver.ca/files/cov/bee-guidelines.pdf

Possible subtitles?

Regulation Registration Prevention of Aggressive Behaviour and Swarming Resources for Reporting a Bee Swamp/ Safety Concerns Impact on Human Ecology (i.e. having a neighbour with a beehive, possible water sources that may draw bee’s attention)

Let me know what you think (i should probably post this on wiki i thought this would be easier though)

Urban beekeeping edit

[edit]

Hi Paula,

Thanks for your edit to urban beekeeping! It looks like you did a great job for your first contribution. I did want to mention a few things. You don't need to include the underscore when linking to other Wikipedia pages. You linked to local food using wikimarkup local food but it's easier to just use local food. The whole "link to this, but say that" construction is better used when the article's title wouldn't work well in the prose. For example, see the following sentence:

Urban bees pollinate a wide variety of plants including root vegetables, fruits, and flowers.

Here, the wikimarkup for the link is a wide variety of plants. Anyway, let me know if you have any questions, and I hope your first edit won't be your last! Fleetham (talk) 21:42, 7 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
