Information icon Hello, I'm MrOllie. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Xv6 have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Hi. I do not understand why these links are inappropriate, since they bring useful additional information for french-speaking readers. Pdagog (talk) 18:56, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
My addition was at 18:50, your reply was at 18:50. Did you ever consult the external links I added? Pdagog (talk) 19:09, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Since Wikipedia is not a link directory, 'useful additional information for french-speaking readers' is not a valid reason to add such a link. Per WP:EL and WP:COI, you should never add links to your own websites. MrOllie (talk) 19:13, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I just wanted to let you know that I've updated the link you've added as a citation some time ago. The old link seems to be broken due to the very recent updates to the faculty's website. I hope this new link still refers to the same resource as I have no way of verifying this. Wayback Machine doesn't have a snapshot of the website from when the old link was operational. So I invite you to modify my changes accordingly if they don't make sense.

Here is the diff of my changes for your convenience. Nectarine-EE (talk) 14:32, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
