Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Pdholak1, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!--Mishae (talk) 21:00, 15 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Paulomi!

[edit]

Hi Paulomi, my name is James and I will be your partner for the Wikipedia assignment in Molecular Biology this semester. I'm looking forward to working with you and learning more about Wikipedia. Apoptosis81 (talk) 05:36, 30 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi James! I'm excited to work together! So, I think this is how we have conversations on this page. Am I replying correctly? Who knew Wikipedia was so complicated! Pdholak1 (talk) 01:30, 1 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah this works pretty well. I think we are both indenting our replies correctly. Apoptosis81 (talk) 03:12, 1 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome from Neelix

[edit]

Hi Paulomi,

Welcome to Wikipedia! It is good to hear from you. Please let me know if you have any questions about editing Wikipedia; I would be glad to assist you however I am able.

Neelix (talk) 03:16, 1 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Paulomi,
Thank you for contacting me about the time recordings on your signatures. Because Wikipedia is a global project, it operates on Greenwich Mean Time so as not to favour any particular time zone. That way, everyone sees the same time stamps and can make the mental calculations for their own time zones. Don't worry; your signature isn't broken. I hope that helps!
Neelix (talk) 02:29, 16 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Neelix, thank you for your quick reply! I was not aware of that at all, but that definitely makes sense now. Thank you! Pdholak1 (talk) 02:34, 16 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Problems with upload of File:Amylase Test Results.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Amylase Test Results.png. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 02:05, 12 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Exoenzyme, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Enviroment and Vesicles (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
