Please add a citation, including page number, so that the reader can tell where you got the information that the sets were in a Chagall-like style. Thanks! Good, you're getting the hang of it. I fixed the formatting for you. A couple of hints: You don't need to sign your name after adding the ref. Also, you don't need the Book reference twice, just once in the refs section. The page number only goes in the footnote, not in the full bibliographic reference at the bottom. Hi, Penti--as far as general help goes, I suggest that you read the general guidelines in the first box on this page (getting started, etc.) After that, take a look at some articles, not to edit, but just to see how they read and are referenced. Then, read (and memorize --joke, joke) the material at WP:WPMT-those are the guidelines and suggestions for musical theatre articles, but they are good for some general tips. I think the material at WP:MOS --the Manuel of Style is critical, no matter what articles you edit. Finally, what is a peacock? Here:WP:PEACOCK.

Anyone with some time and interest will, I'm sure, be glad to help on specific questions. You might also consider asking to be adopted, at least for a short time, at WP:ADOPT. Sorry i have not got the hang of this quite yet. The second part is in my own words, as i have a pirate copy (horror??!) of the show.. so cannot reference it. But i could dig out the Frank Rich-Times review of the musical, as it is very specific about the light towers and constant motion. --Damien 00:32, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

Yes, please do add a reference to the Frank Rich review. But the assertion that will cause the problem is this: "This influence is most apparent in Dreamgirls..." How can you prove that Robbins' influence is more apparent in Dreamgirls than in all the other shows? Indeed, does the Frank Rich review mention that Bennett's choreography for the show is influenced by Robbins? You are very perceptive, i had not thought of that. I hope i am not being a burden to you. This is what i just found on the web..

Four towers with Plexiglas veils and kliegs, enhanced by bridges that descended on the action, amounted to an apparently simple architectural set by its brilliant designer, Robin Wagner. The towers could turn 360 degrees with ease. But it was Bennett’s use of them that was revolutionary. The towers moved to create constantly changing perspectives and space, like an automated ballet. They created stages within stages. They energized the action, driving it forcefully along. It’s why there were no set-piece dance routines in the show: Dance and movement were organic to the entire action. But Bennett had made the mechanical set his dancers".

Thanks! I added the citation and massaged the quote into the article. See if you agree with how I did it. I kept what I thought was the most important parts of the quote as they related to Bennett's work on the show. If you get more information about Robbins' influence on him, you can add something then. That's really the best way to write Wikipedia: Research first, writing second, making sure that all assertions are supported by WP:Reliable sources. You have done a good job with Bennett's article, and I think you are learning the ropes pretty fast. As you have time, please click on the links in the welcome message at the top of this page. Then the software will put in your username and the date/time of your message. As you learn more about it, it gets easier to collaborate with people. It seems like you have access to a lot of reference materials. It's more important to reference the actual statements made in the article than just to add a long list of references at the bottom. In several articles, you have added a list of reference materials, but it would be better to only add the ones that you use in adding material to the articles themselves.
