Thankyou. My goal eventually is to provide photos of every village in Wales.Perry Rimmer (talk) 19:24, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Vale of Glamorgan and Wale[edit]

Hi Perry, I have used Geograph on Commons for a few years now, as well as Flickr (only those images that are acceptable to Commons) and also my own images. I have also used www.photoeverywhere.co.uk which can also be used on Commons. Best regards. I look forward to speaking to you again. Seth Whales (talk) 19:52, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome![edit]

Although some prefer welcoming newcomers with cookies, I find fruit to be a healthier alternative.

SVG maps[edit]

Hi!, exist a project to finish all the maps, and will also be proposed at some advanced graphic workshop (such as German or French). It's just a matter of time. You can see the finished maps here. Thank you!. -- Addicted (Talk) 00:05, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Gibbonsdown[edit]

If material is inflammatory or can be libellous then it can be removed. The first reference is incorrect so should be removed as it does not state the person in question was guilty, just that he had been charged, and referencing such is misleading. The second cite then becomes useless, as it does not account to the rest of the information that will be removed. Also a single murder case is not encyclopedic. Kisumu[edit]

I saw that you contributed to Kisumu, I was wondering whether we could work together to update the Kisumu page which currently reads like a travel brochure, which is very undeserving for a leading town in East Africa. If possible could you constructively help me make it better, I am hoping to get together a work group of contributers to help out so that it is something close to the Nairobi page. I will be working on this for the next week or two, if you have some spare time I will be glad if you could help me open up Kisumu to the world. Thanks!--Krator1 (talk) 22:27, 15 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

New Wales Coast Path WikiProject[edit]

Living Paths! Logo

As a member of WikiProject Wales, WikiProject Cardiff or an user who has contributed to Welsh articles we invite you to contribute to a new project, Living Paths!: articles, images, translations... Lonely Planet rated the coast of Wales "the best region on Earth" in 2012, yet there is a very low number of articles on the history and culture of places along the Coastal Path. This promises to be an exciting project as it gathers momentum with many Users joining in across the world.

If you are interested in training groups in Wales, please leave a message on the Talk Page.
Let's make this WikiProject, like the path itself, the best on earth! And let's put Wales back on the map!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
