Portage High School
[edit]About a week ago, an article was created about the PHS Publications Department. That article was deleted under because it was a non-notable group. Soon thereafter, your article on Portage High School was created that covered the high school as a whole (rather sketchily) and then reproduced (to the best of my memory) the contents of the originally deleted article. While all high schools are deemed to be inherently notable, the publications department is still not notable in its own right. Therefore, it is inappropriate for the article to cover that topic almost to the exclusion of all other topics. I have edited the article to make a mention of the department and its activities -- any further expansion on your part is self-aggrandizement, and constitutes a conflict of interest as you are clearly involved in the PHS radio project. Please do not try to hijack an article about your high school to make it about your own club at that school. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 13:17, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
