Your uploaded images
[edit]Hello and thank you for adding new information about newer described earliest fish. I want to know is that should your uploaded images be actual your work.[1][2] Especially for Fanjingshania, I can see same image in this article,[3] so it is possible that will be deleted. I feel the need to clarify if these are actually your own images. Ta-tea-two-te-to (talk) 13:09, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
- Hi,
- The images of Qianodus and Fanjingshania are from my research (I am the lead author of the papers describing the two taxa). I wrote the EurekAlert! article and provided the Fanjingshania image you are referring to. If this is an issue I can substitute it with a different render. The Qianodus tooth whorl render is different from the holotype illustrations that appear in the Nature paper and to the best of my knowledge it is available only on Wikipedia. Please let me know if you require further details.
- Cheers

- By the way, I was curious, why are you only adding information about Fanjingshania and Qianodus? I have not seen you add information about Xiushanosteus and Shenacanthus, important discoveries that were described at the same time and which I believe may be relevant to your research. I think information and images for these taxa are helpful as well, alongside galeaspid Tujiaaspis. About "Recognition" you added to article Guizhou, I think that shouldn't be added because there are too many taxon named after Guizhou, like Guizhouichthyosaurus, Keichousaurus, Birgeria guizhouensis etc. Ta-tea-two-te-to (talk) 00:10, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
- Hi,
- My understanding is that my colleagues who described Xiushanosteus and Shenacanthus will provide the relevant information and images for Wikipedia.
- As far as my Guizhou article entry is concerned, I thought Qianodus is a worthy mention as the oldest toothed vertebrate, potentially being included in the upcoming Guinness World Records book. I am happy to remove the mention if you consider it to be out of place there.
- Cheers
