The article B Vijayalakshmi has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication that this individual satisfies the requirements of WP:ACADEMIC.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hello Pooja!

My name is Jadine, and I am an undergraduate researcher from the University of Toronto. I'm currently looking to get in touch with female Indian editors for my research on the Indian Wikipedian gender gap. I saw your name in the list of volunteers for the Wiki Women's Workshop that took place in Bangalore on the 9th of March (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wiki_Women%27s_Workshop_by_FSMK_and_WMIN), and I'd be really interested in talking to you about your experiences as an editor and your insight into the gender gap, if you are willing!

If you're interested in speaking to me about this, or just want to find out more about my research (or if you just want to say "hi!"), please contact me by replying on my talk page. Thanks! Bluujayy (talk) 09:26, 31 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
