What's this about a prize?

[edit]

Well? Sarcasticidealist (talk) 03:25, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

duly distributed... - and big brother records some fine lurking.... :-) Privatemusings (talk) 03:31, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
An editor can't be truly plugged in unless he has Lar's talk page on his watchlist, as far as I`m concerned. And, much as I`m a great fan of Belgian beers, I like my alcohol percentages well into the integers. Still, the berliner's very much appreciated. As for the requested wisdom: sparrow fly high but not build dam with tail of beaver. Think about it. But now I'll let you and Lar get to the Private Musings-improvement. I have the page watchlisted, so I'll chime in in the unlikely event I see use in doing so. Best of luck, Sarcasticidealist (talk) 03:35, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I second the "watchlist Lar's page" theory of communication. And ooh, I see a familiar username on the attached project page. I never quite understood why Purples was there instead of your regular account, I guess. But I'm glad to see you're still around. Risker (talk) 03:46, 8 July 2008 (UTC) Oh yeah, and what's this about a prize?[reply]

cheers Steve, and I'm afraid he pipped you to the post, Risker! My creation of Purples related to a desire to wiki gnome on one accounr, and engage in 'heated issues' with another - it quite clearly didn't work out well for me! Privatemusings (talk) 03:51, 8 July 2008 (UTC)I'm glad I'm still around too! - and have you too caught 'kim-itis'?[reply]
No kim-itis here, I've gone the more traditional route; although Kim and I might reach the same endpoints, my thought processes and philosophies are quite different. At the end of the day, it's all about the encyclopedia. Risker (talk) 16:16, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
gosh - I just realised from re-reading the above (and seeing your edit summary!) that I mightn't have been as clear as I could have - Kim-itis is a wonderful thing to catch! - though it doesn't actually refer to sharing a wiki-world-view, or even many behavioural habits with the man himself! - Privatemusings (talk) 21:39, 8 July 2008 (UTC)I just meant how addictive it is to put a little thought after one's sig in a quiet-ish manner! I've got a pretty bad case at the mo... :-)[reply]

less than a thousand words, but a picture none the less

Statements from my arb case as a word cloud

I know it's a bit behind the times, but here's a word cloud of the statements from my arb case - I find these little things strangely meaningful - maybe in a Rorschach kind of way... but then I also watch stones grow.... :-) - Privatemusings (talk) 03:51, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Here's an update.... cool, huh? Privatemusings (talk) 06:45, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

..I particularly like the 'probably, actually, think, sources' bit! :-) Privatemusings (talk) 11:57, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

the words from the path as a cloud.. very Zen...

chance to chat....

[edit]

This isn't a bad spot for a quiet chat, I reckon - being a bit of a backwater.... particularly about 'BLP' editing issues etc. - given that I've recently resumed editing in a couple of areas..... :-) Privatemusings (talk) 03:31, 9 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
