When i press the edit button to leave my own festival greeting under yours I get sent to a view source page, clearly some kind of bug, letting you know and Feliz Navidad. Thanks, SqueakBox 19:46, 25 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh for pity's sake, this is the second time today that an admin has declined an obvious change for spurious reasoning; when I asked at Talk:CFD about this very issue before, and how to proceed, we were instructed to do what User:Jaraalbe did, place a speedy delete, as there were only two of us involved and he admits to being mistaken in naming the category. Did you not read the related name discussion, now on Talk:Russian America? Sometimes I wonder if the right hand of the adminship of wikipedia knows what its left hand is doing; this will pass, and you're wasting someone else's energy and time. Russian America was not a colony, and it wasn't called Alaska. Go figure "more eyes on it" mostly means people who don't know the subject and, like yourself, don't care about the subject. So it's going to take the potentially long-drawn-out CFD to get it done, and I've got six or seven subcats of it in need of creating, in addition to the new Category:Governors of Russian America, which I don't want to create until the cat is renamed, so i dno't have to rejig all the subcats..... Sheesh. I'm increasingly a mind that "common sense" and "good general knowledge" be requirements for adminship, instead of just toeing-the-line and being-polite.....Skookum1 (talk) 19:11, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
