User talk:PublicAdvocate
Hi there. Just wanted to suggest to you that it might be prudent at this point to avoid further reverts on Protandim as you are running the risk of getting blocked for edit warring (see WP:3RR. The comments on the Talk page don't seem to be getting through and it has been suggested that instead edit of warring, the topic can be brought to the attention of other WP editors for additional input. Thanks for your cooperation. Rhode Island Red (talk) 19:09, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
- Then maybe Rhode Island Red should avoid doing the same, and meanwhile we'll wait for other's feedback, and leave it the way it was.--PublicAdvocate (talk) 21:41, 6 June 2011 (UTC)

License tagging for File:LVLogo200.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:LVLogo200.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 21:05, 3 May 2012 (UTC)
File copyright problem with File:LVLogo200.png
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:LVLogo200.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. WheresTristan 22:56, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
Conflict of interest
[edit]Are you affiliated or associated in any way (paid or unpaid) with the company that manufactures Protandim or any of its employees or associates? This is a legitimate question because so far you are a single purpose account that has edited only articles related to Protandim, all of which have been favorable to the company or its product, even to the point of edit warring to make your changes.
Secondly, have you edited using any other username or anonymous IP on Wikipedia?
Thank you. Cresix (talk) 16:57, 20 September 2012 (UTC)
- Since you continue to edit at Protandim, I'll again ask you to answer the above questions. Your silence on these questions does not help your credibility regarding conflict of interest. Thank you. Cresix (talk) 15:39, 13 October 2012 (UTC)
- My only interest on Wikipedia has been this article. A family member is a distributor of LifeVantage, so I've taken an interest in the company and product. I am not an employee or contractor. I try to remain as non-biased as possible in any of my edits. The edit warring was some time ago as I've learned more about the wikipedia protocols. I've not been making other anon changes or usernames. --PublicAdvocate (talk) 14:59, 19 October 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for your response. You do, in fact, have a conflict of interest. Wikipedia does not forbid you from editing, but take close notice of the details in the template below.

Hello, PublicAdvocate. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Protandim, you may need to consider our guidance on conflicts of interest.
All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.
If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:
- Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
- Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
- Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
- Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.
Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you.
