Have you attempted using <ref> and </ref>? Example: <ref>http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page</ref>

Make certain there is a reflist ( {{reflist}} ) on the page so there's a connection to the ref brackets as shown above. There is a guideline for this, Wikipedia:Citing sources.
