Response to @I dream of horses:
[edit]Hello, I am new to Wikipedia and I would like to make some "heavy" contributions to the article Vortex ring. I just graduated with a PhD in this specific field and I would like to contribute to the page by making edits about the general knowledge of vortex rings. However, each time I am trying to modify the section Formation and add a subsection entitled "Formation process", which would essentially replace the current text that is quite unclear, not too say incorrect, a bot prevents it as it is seen as vandalism(?). This section is actually flagged by Wikipedia for lacking references. I understand that Wikipedia does not encourage large edits to the pages as it needs be approved by the community and it could be seen as vandalism. Far from this idea, I just want to create a page of quality on this subject that I really master. Could you please give me some tips so that my edits get accepted by the bots. I also intend to add significant content in the rest of the article. Thank you in advance for your help.
Re your edits
[edit]Hey! Thanks for your contributions. So I saw some of your edits were blocked by the filter. I've let it through manually (see here). Let me know if I missed something? The filter shouldn't bug you in the future so you can contribute normally, but feel free to ping me if it's still giving you trouble. ProcrastinatingReader (talk) 16:03, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
