Welcome!

Hello, Rashm771, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, visit the Teahouse, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! PathologyOutlines.com is an open access web-based pathology resource founded in August 2001 by Nat Pernick M.D.,an U.S. based pathologist with board certifications in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology [1][2] [3] The website was created solely for pathologists with the intent of providing most up-to-date information for diagnosis of various disease conditions. Being an open access model it provides all the essential information at ease without any subscription or fee.[1] It is the only open access resource in pathology where information can be obtained by just typing the topic name and pathology outlines within google search and it will direct you that topic in fraction of second for example “Leiomyosarcoma Pathology outlines[4]. Pathologists rely heavily on this website in their day-to-day practice averaging to about 45,000 visits per day [5] [6]
Everything about this Online resource
The pathology field is ever evolving, keeping oneself updated by reading various textbooks is quite a task and humanely impossible; Pathologyoutlines.com bridges the gap. This online resource covers a wide range of topics from both anatomic and clinical pathology ranging from common case scenario to rare esoteric ones from various subsections of pathology including clinical pathology, Chemistry, Hematopathology, Coagulation, Informatics &digital pathology, Microbiology, Transfusion Medicine, Laboratory Administration, updates from the WHO Classification of Tumors. The written topics are updated regularly to keep up with the everchanging dynamic field of pathology [6].
The online topics are written in bullet format therefore the information is succinct, and all information is present on a single webpage. The homepage provides information on topic content from various organ sites, but also includes recently updated topics. Each topic follows a specific format with subheadings to include essential clinical, pathology and radiology related information often required by pathologists for diagnosis. The pathology section includes illustrations, diagrams, tables, high definition gross and microscopic images with captions and legends, ancillary tests such as immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, flow cytometry, microscopy, molecular and cytogenetics.[7] [8]. On the top of each topic, there is information on last updated date, thereby giving an idea on content reliability.
Pathology Outlines also provides links to power point presentations/ YouTube videos posted by experts in the field, that can be viewed instantly as you are in the topic, furnishing deeper understanding on the topic. Pathology Outlines offers Board Review Style Questions to help trainees with active learning, self – assessment, memory reinforcement, critical thinking and test preparation skills [9]. This web-based resource provides links to online references in PubMed medical journals and other pathology-related published material to increase credibility of the written content.
Authors and the Editorial Board
The authors selected for writing topics are board certified practicing academic pathologists well published in their respective subspecialties for past 15 years and have met other qualifications [10,11]. The written topics undergo a peer review process making sure the quality of content is accurate. To date, over 1800 authors have contributed content to Pathology Outlines. In addition to authors, Pathology Outlines has a formal editorial board that determine what topic needs to be addressed based on the day-to-day practice need of the pathologists.
Apart from providing free academic resources, pathology outlines also keeps a Worldwide directory of Pathologists to promote communication among pathologists from all over the world, strengthen pathology community, foster collaborations and future research [12]. Continuing Medical Education (CME) is required to maintenance of board certification by practicing pathologists, pathology outlines.com provides online CME activities hosted 1-2 times a year and also provides information on CME related activities of your subspeciality interest[12]. The pathology community has access to its eblasts (free subscription newsletters) and social media posts on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.[13][14]
Pathology Outlines also has a philanthropic arm that includes scholarship funds to Detroit Public School students, University of Michigan Law School,  Pernick Prize awards for excellence in mathematics, medicine / science and public service[15].
Pathology Outlines collaborates with the Journal of Pathology and Translational Medicine to co-publish certain pathology articles in Pubmed.
