Speedy deletion of Renee K. Noll[edit]

A tag has been placed on Renee K. Noll requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Rnb (talk) 01:30, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm afraid from what I can see the subject will not meet requirements of notability, which necessitates multiple references from secondary sources. I have put some guides at the top of this page. I suggest you contribute to other articles. Also see WP:COI. Ty 05:48, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You will have to provide multiple refs that are considered of sufficient repute in themselves. See WP:BIO and WP:V. Mere external links are discouraged per WP:EL. See referencing guide above for how to provide inline citations. Ty 06:06, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sign[edit]

As a courtesy to other editors, it is a Wikipedia guideline to sign your posts on talk pages, user talk pages, and WikiProject pages. To do so, simply add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comments. Your user name or IP address (if you are not logged in) and the date will then be automatically added along with a timestamp when you save your comment. Signing your comments helps people to find out who said something and provides them with a link to your user/talk page (for further discussion). For further info, read Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines. Thank you. Ty 05:49, 22 April 2008 (UTC) I do not see much on the Maryland Poetry Society and if I place some outside references is that enough? Also, do I need to redo this page completely? Thank you for your time.--Reneescarlett (talk) 06:08, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
