A Little Review From a Classmate from CHM437

[edit]

Hi! It's just a little bit of general comments from me on your draft Wiki article in your Sandbox.

1) The title of the section "protein": this section seems to be more about the "discovery" of eosinophile peroxidase in vivo. Also, watch out for opinion-loaded words such as "golden age (of cytology..)."

2) Under the section "genes", the content seems to be mostly talking about information about the protein.

3) A possible concern: Be careful if you are going to present data (i.e. "circular dichroism data"), especially if it is from one primary source (secondary source what has compiled data should be no problem).

You are still in the process of working hard on your article. My suggestions are just for reference! Cheers!

Eosinophil peroxidase draft

[edit]

Your draft article looks good. I made a few minor edits to it. One thing you might want to think about is the age of the some of the references - anything from 10 or 25 years ago has a good chance of being out of date. That isn't a problem for all information, of course, but Wikipedia prefers recent sources, especially review articles, rather than citing the first person who made the discoveries (as is more the case in academic writing). Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
