August 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm CodeTalker. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Noah Lyles, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. CodeTalker (talk) 21:35, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Can you explain me what is citation because i'm pretty new in this stuff and how can i get my text back? Robuu (talk) 21:39, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
and what i need to change in the text because it looked pretty awesome to me Robuu (talk) 21:42, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! You can start by reading WP:REFBEGIN which I mentioned above. You can find more details in WP:REF. Regarding neutral language, you can read WP:NPOV. Text like "Lyles already cementing himself one of the greats at 26 years of age. is not neutral; it is promotional language and definitely does not belong in Wikipedia. (It's also not grammatically correct, so please proofread your edits for grammar more carefully.) Thanks! CodeTalker (talk) 23:23, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Okay thank you. I just thought it looked, sounded and cool and it was technically correct but yeah my bad. I'm more careful and i try to be better next time. Robuu (talk) 23:42, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Country names in infobox honours[edit]

Since when do we include the country names? And why? For me, medals shouldn't be included in the infobox anyway, as that's what the honours section is for. Mattythewhite (talk) 16:09, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There is country names in every footballers page for example Messi, Pogba, Zidane, Pele, Maradona, Cristiano etc. and its been like that forever so why you try to make kante different? Its useful information to see where the world cup/euros/copa america was played. For you but majority thinks its great that the medals are there so why your removing my edit? Robuu (talk) 20:25, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It's like that on every players' page. Really? You've checked *every* single player? You must have missed Alexis Mac Allister and Kylian Mbappé, and those are just off the top of my head. Mattythewhite (talk) 23:09, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
