Episode numbers[edit]

Hey. Can you please stop adding episode numbers? These are unsourced and such a mass change to so many articles need to be discussed beforehand. DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 03:02, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Changes[edit]

Hey, I wanted to write you a quick note about why I reverted your edits on Lacey Lloyd earlier. In the first revert I pressed submit before I could explain in the summary, so I apologise about that. I empathise with your edits as they are all edits that I would have done when I was a newer editor and they are not edits I particularly disagree with. However, they are changes that are disagreed with by the wider soaps community so I reverted them to prevent edit wars.

1.) Linking of common words (such as soap opera and fictional character) are discouraged on soap character pages and this year several users spent a long time unlinking them. I do not see a problem with linking them but I also do not want an edit war to start.

2.) The episode numbers are unsourced and have not been discussed beforehand - again, I do not disagree but it needs to be discussed at [[WP:SOAPS}] first. I have left you a talk page about it before.

3.) I completely agree with the duration and if you look at my sandbox, I had "2023–" - however, many editors disagree whether it should be there yet as it is still "2023" until Monday, and so I removed it for now just to prevent edit wars.

I appreciate your enthusiasm for helping and your hardwork, but if your edits are reverted I would recommend finding out why rather than continuously reverting back.

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and please do not hesitate to message me if you have any questions! DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 00:50, 25 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Content removal[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Wylie39. I noticed that you recently removed content from List of EastEnders characters (2022) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. {{User|Wylie39}} {Talk} 02:58, 26 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of EastEnders characters (2022), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Grant Mitchell. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
