Seán Ó hUadhaigh was an ardent aircraft enthusiast He was one of the instigators of Aer Linqus he was the first chairman of Aer lingus and a member of the Irish aero club He was a director of Aer Rianta from 1937 to 1944 and was re-nominated as a director in 1946.
