Hello Rubymedia2021. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Rubymedia2021. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Rubymedia2021|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Longhair\talk 19:13, 27 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Rubymedia2021, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Rubymedia2021|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. Longhair\talk 19:19, 27 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You still have not adequately responded or taken action to the inquiry regarding your appearance as an undisclosed paid editor. If you make any additional edits without complying you may be blocked from editing. Longhair\talk 19:21, 27 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:

  • Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
  • State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
  • Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.

Request reason:

Werner Klotz is an artist who has already achieved notable achievements. I've known him for 2 years now and have become a good friend. I pointed out to him that he cannot be found on Wikipedia. He asked me if I could do a Wikipedia article for him. I don't get any compensation or money for this. The two of us spent some time on the processing. After the publication yesterday, the article was deleted because English text cannot be published on German Wikipedia. Now I already have a prepared page, which only has to be inserted via copy paste. All photographs were taken personally by Werner Klotz. I linked the two that were made by a photographer. Behind this article is only the representation of the artist in connection with his creative power. A violation in the sense of financial interests of my person does not correspond to the truth.

Decline reason:

It is difficult to believe that you are doing this out of the goodness of your heart, but even if you are, you still have a clear conflict of interest and as such won't be unblocked to make conflict of interest related edits at this time. If you want to edit about other topics, please tell what those might be. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 22:09, 27 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

It is very difficult for me to understand how they operate here, this contradicts the Wikipedia approach that I have known so far. Your statement is a freshness! Incredible that such allegations are made on this platform. At the moment I am not interested in publishing an article myself on this platform. I leave this to people who are familiar with it. Since I cannot edit the article, I would like to delete all textual and media content that I have uploaded. Thank you in advance!

Decline reason:

This doesn't appear to be an actual unblock request, so I won't address an actual PaidCOI vs regular COI issue here. I have deleted the userspace page, per the author's request, but not executed on the media files. Nosebagbear (talk) 15:42, 9 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
