Congratulations, Samee! You're receiving the Invisible Barnstar because you reviewed 78 articles during the recent AFC Backlog elimination drive in June 2014! Thank you for you contributions to Wikipedia at-large and helping to keep the backlog down. We hope you continue reviewing submissions and stay in touch at the talk page. Unblock request
Samee/Archives/2014 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I am unable to edit Wikipedia for my IP has been blocked being recognized as shared IP address or proxy. Please grant me permission to edit using my account on the blocked IP. I shall be very thankful to you. SAMI talk 20:13, 6 August 2014 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Procedural decline as we cannot undo such a block based on the information you have supplied. We need to know what IP you are editing from. What message do you see when you try to edit? — Daniel Case (talk) 13:33, 9 August 2014 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
@Daniel Case, I am able to edit at the moment. I'll seek help if the issue reappears. Thanks for your support. SAMI talk 16:24, 9 August 2014 (UTC)
- I'm only able to edit my talk page. This is the message I encounter:
You are currently unable to edit Wikipedia. You are still able to view pages, but you are not currently able to edit, move, or create them.
Editing from 65.49.0.0/17 has been blocked (disabled) by DeltaQuad for the following reason(s): The IP address that you are currently using has been blocked because the IP range you are editing from is a web host provider. Since your IP acts like a proxy, because it hides your IP address, it has been blocked. To prevent abuse, these IPs may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. If you do not have any other way to edit Wikipedia, you will need to request an IP Block Exemption. If this is the case, please request to be unblocked using the {{unblock}} template, and provide a clear reason why you need to use a webhost. If you would prefer to do so in confidentiality, please contact functionaries at functionaries-en@lists.wikimedia.org. Furthermore, your IP address may also be blocked because there are proxies on it. Admins: Before applying IPBE, a checkuser needs to take a look at the account. This can be requested most easily at SPI Quick Checkuser Requests. Unblocking an IP or IP range with this template is highly unrecommended without at least contacting the blocking administrator. This block has been set to expire: 22:59, July 18, 2015.
Even if blocked, you will usually still be able to edit your user talk page and email other editors and administrators. SAMI talk 16:29, 9 August 2014 (UTC)
AfC you declined
There's a user in IRC asking about this AfC and why you declined it. Could you ping me with specifics about the decline? Cheers and Thanks, L235-Talk Ping when replying 16:35, 11 August 2014 (UTC)
- @Lixxx235 I was not able to check references properly due to missing {{reflist}}. I have accepted the article after checking references. I extend my apologies for the inconvenience caused. Thanks. SAMI talk 17:21, 11 August 2014 (UTC)
- No problem. Nice to meet you! Cheers and Thanks, L235-Talk Ping when replying 17:29, 11 August 2014 (UTC)
