Information icon Hello, I'm Moriwen. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Data governance have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you.

[edit]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Data governance. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. — Moriwen (talk) 19:44, 29 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
that is an article that was built for the community. How is it possible that some website are actually allowed to be linked and not this blog? Sandroscordo (talk) 19:46, 29 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, adding blog is complicated: Wikipedia:Blogs_as_sources. Thanks, Framawiki (please notify me when you reply) 18:10, 30 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Framawiki, I can see the blog article I posted matches the criteria you indicated. So why remove it? Sandroscordo (talk) 18:13, 30 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
ok, let's see. Thanks, Framawiki (please notify me when you reply) 18:24, 30 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Data governance. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you. ... discospinster talk 18:30, 30 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

your comment is very unfair. In the same page is referenced Frincan, George on his article 'what is data governance? a complete guide.'. Why you keep blocking me ? I am putting an article like the one of Frincan. Sandroscordo (talk) 18:34, 30 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Discospinster Sandroscordo (talk) 18:34, 30 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You are spamming your blog/company, which is not tolerated on Wikipedia. ... discospinster talk 18:36, 30 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Discospinster I am not SPAMMING. I am trying to add as George Frincan did. what is the difference between George Frincan and my blog article? answer honestly because it looks to be that you are malicious. Do I need to pay to get it published maybe? Sandroscordo (talk) 18:39, 30 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have removed that link as well since it does not comply with external link guidelines. ... discospinster talk 18:44, 30 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Discospinster now your comment looks more constructive and I thank you for that. As I am new of wikipedia and I do not want to put links to comply with external link guidelines, could you please point me out towards the guidelines you are referring to? So I will study and avoid this useless ping-pong. Thank you. Sandroscordo (talk) 18:56, 30 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
