Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Sanyogkesar, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, your edit to Jammu and Kashmir does not conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV). Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.
There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Questions page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! It's not neutral when you tell an Occupied region as Independent. Sanyogkesar (talk) 17:02, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
- The region has a WP:COMMONNAME in Wikipedia called Azad Kashmir. Do not introduce POV in it. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 17:12, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
This whole page is created on a POV. It's just you have power to control it and I am trying. Sanyogkesar (talk) 17:38, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
- That's actually a disambiguation page not an article. It should list the articles with similar names, that's all. The Azad Kashmir is the common name in Wikipedia, that's what we have to list there. As far as "xyz-occupied Kashmir" is concerned, those are narratives by respective governments (India, Pakistan and China) to call the regions not under their administration as "occupied". That is also the reason why we have consensus to use the phrase "administered by 'xyz country'" for all regions of J&K including Ladakh for the sake of neutrality. Hooope you understand. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 05:53, 27 March 2021 (UTC)
