Yazid and history books

[edit]

Can I suggest that it would be a good idea to make some of the edits you suggested. If you need advice with formatting citations, or other issues, you are welcome to ask me. If you have read Tabari's volume that deals Yazid's reign, you will know which person is described as "an evil man who split his community"; it is funny how his supporters on Wikipedia only selectively quote the claims by anti-government forces that the Caliph was a tyrant.--Toddy1 (talk) 21:59, 1 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

My advice is to use the knowledge you have to edit the article, quoting sources. Then use the talk page to discuss the edits you have made, and to get people to explain why they want changes to your edits.--Toddy1 (talk) 07:59, 3 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
