Hello; I apologize for disturbing an administrator; however, I noticed a vandalim in the Egypt page, registered only so I could edit it, found out I could not as it is semi-protected, so chose to leave a message in its discussion, so that other users could act on it, and nothing happened in many days. Could I maybe get the auto-confirmed status, or could you maybe correct this vandalism? All the necessary details are on top of the Egypt article discussion page.

- You are welcome. I removed those edits, great job spotting that sneaky vandalism. Btw, you can edit semi-protected pages once you reach auto-confirmed status, currently with an account of > 4 days and > 10 edits, see WP:AUTOCONFIRM. Also, as all users with this status can edit semi-protected pages, {{helpme}} would have been enough to alert someone to do it. Might have been faster, but now I did it. But you might want to remember this for future problems that need no admin to resolve.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:La Nouvelle branch, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well.
