Hello; I apologize for disturbing an administrator; however, I noticed a vandalim in the Egypt page, registered only so I could edit it, found out I could not as it is semi-protected, so chose to leave a message in its discussion, so that other users could act on it, and nothing happened in many days. Could I maybe get the auto-confirmed status, or could you maybe correct this vandalism? All the necessary details are on top of the Egypt article discussion page.
Best regards

- You are welcome. I removed those edits, great job spotting that sneaky vandalism. Btw, you can edit semi-protected pages once you reach auto-confirmed status, currently with an account of > 4 days and > 10 edits, see WP:AUTOCONFIRM. Also, as all users with this status can edit semi-protected pages, {{helpme}} would have been enough to alert someone to do it. Might have been faster, but now I did it. But you might want to remember this for future problems that need no admin to resolve.
- Last, but not least, let me say welcome to Wikipedia and happy editing. If you need anything, feel free to ask. Regards SoWhy 14:14, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:La Nouvelle branch, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Nancy talk 11:06, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
